Mommy sends in Alan to get his big brother Kevin up for the day. "Hey! How did you rate such a big bed?"

Mommy has started taking Alan to Gymboree again. Wow! Look at all the different balls!

Smiles and Joy

This blog has always been about sharing the minutiae of Kevin and Alan's day-to-day life with Daddy while he's travelling and with our out-of-town-friends and family. I've never been one to share my thoughts on parenting, childhood or my experience as a stay-at-home Mom.

Recently, though, I found the following video on our favourite daddy blog. It made me smile, it made me happy, and it made me laugh. In short, all the things that our two beautiful boys do. We share a lot of pictures of how they look and videos of what they do. This video, I hope, will give you an idea of how they make us feel.

Alan loves zwieback toast. Mmmm, tasty! Mommy likes it because it lasts longer than Baby Mum Mums, but what a mess! It's all over his hands, arms, face, ears and clothing.

Here are the boys in matching red, white and blue Hawaiian shirts, just the way Mommy likes! We hope every one had a great Fourth of July holiday! We were happy to have lots of rain today, especially since it cleared up in time to go to the July Fourth party!

More food!

Alan continues to explore the joys of solid food. Today he ate pieces of apple in a mesh snack bag. Yummy slurping sounds ensued!
