Another trip to SeaWorld

SeaWorld was open for the week after Christmas, so we went for one more trip to see the fishies!

Merry Christmas to All!

Merry Christmas to all! This is Kevin's second Christmas and he has enjoyed his first Christmas dinner, as he was only eating rice cereal last year. Since we couldn't make it to Kevin's Auntie Gloria in Grand Junction, Colorado because of the snow storms in Denver, we had a quiet Christmas at home.



We started off with Christmas Eve brunch with Karen and Rusty Healey. On Christmas morning, we opened presents even though half of them were in Colorado. Between a pirate ship from Auntie Karen Gordon, trains from Auntie 'Chelle and the FedEx fleet set from Mommy and Daddy, Kevin got enough planes, trains and automobiles to qualify as a shipping magnate!












After Kevin's nap, we went for a walk around the neighbourhood. It was rather windy so Kevin was bundled up in his Little Aviator Parka.

Kevin and Mommy go to Elf Louise

Mommy and Kevin went to Elf Louise to drop off paperwork as well as a bunch of toys donated by Kevin's playgroup. Miss LeAnn shows Kevin the piles of toys waiting to be delivered to all the boys and girls.

Kevin Discovers Automatic Doors

While Mommy was dropping of stuff at Elf Louise, Kevin discovers the miracle of automatic doors and makes a break for the great outdoors. The third time was the charm, as Mommy let Kevin walk all the way to the end of the parking lot.

Kevin's First Trip To The Farmer's Market

Kevin and Mommy shop for fresh fruit and veggies. Kevin has fun exploring and gets his first skinned knees.

Mommy & Daddy just got Palm phones! So Mommy is now having fun with the camera & mobile capabilities. OK, this one is from the kitchen play area at home, but look forward to more mobile updates in the future!

Kevin Visits Santa & Mrs. Claus

For the second year, we went to North Central Baptist Hospital where Kevin was born to visit Santa. This time, Santa arrived in an ambulance instead of the life flight helicopter. Those darned emergencies!

Kevin was fascinated by Santa's beard (this was the only shot we got of him actually looking at the camera) and actually babbled away at Santa for quite a while.

October 29, 2006 - After a month of tentative steps and lurching from one piece of furniture to the next, Kevin tried walking in open space for 4 to 5 feet a few times this week. Today, he exploded into a walking machine! Hurray!
