Raindrops

Daddy was grilling in the backyard (it is Memorial Day after all) and Kevin came out into the backyard with him. After splashing in his sand and water table, the steaks were done and it was time to go in, just in time to get out of the rain. But no, Kevin thought the rain was fun. Since we were going to have to clean all the sand off him anyway, Daddy let him run around in the rain for a while. It's not like he wasn't already wet!

Backyard Adventure

Alan got to sit out on the patio while Mommy looked after some of the new plants and Kevin played in the yard.

Bubbles

Mommy tests the bubble machine to be used at Kevin's 2nd birthday party next week. Beaucoup bubbles!

Rosemary!

Kevin loves the rosemary bush by the patio. He plays with it until he smells like rosemary himself. How sniffy!

Now that summer is here, Kevin is having fun with his playground ball in the backyard.

When is the rain going to end?

After several days of thunder storms, Kevin is happy to be back playing in the yard. After a circuit around the yard, petting Axel and inspecting several dead leaves, Kevin splashes the water on the lid of his play table.

Taking a break from co-hosting playgroup with Mommy, Kevin sits in the creeping boobialla and soaks in Nature (and the occasional con-trail).

One of the reasons Kevin loves to be in the backyard is that he gets to play with Axel. Axel is even purring!

Kevin Explores the Backyard

December 30, 2006 - Kevin explored the backyard for the first time. He criss-crossed the patio, going through the same puddle 7 times out of 10. And there's Axel!

The next day, he was all over the yard again. This time, he took a header into a rosemary bush and came up all sniffy!
