Kevin had to get shots today so as a reward afterward, we went out for ice cream. Nothing is as refreshing on a hot day as a soft serve cone!

So why does this blog post begin with "Forward"? Because this is a copy of the message that Daddy sent to Mommy's cell phone while she was out playing Bunco with friends on Friday night. Everyone was asking for the latest pictures of the boys, so she reached for her phone, and found out that Daddy had sent a REALLY recent picture! There was much "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing, as well as quite a few "He's growing so fast!" *sniff sniff*

The Hot Light is On

While his cousins were visiting, Kevin & Mommy took them to Krispy Kreme to try their famous doughnuts. They were making doughnut holes at the time - 1300 cups of holes! Kevin was mesmerized as row after row of doughnut holes floated down the fryer, up the ramp and towards the waterfall of glaze.

It's Almost Time!

It's almost time for Kevin to be a big brother! Daddy and Kevin having dinner after touring the hospital with Mommy. :-)

Off on an adventure!

Kevin has just got a new backpack, which he wore to buddy Ryder's place. Ryder's mommy commented that Kevin looked ready to scale a mountain. The boys sure look like they're about to take off on a grand adventure!

There's a thunder storm rolling through town, and Kevin is grinning at the squeaky windshield wipers.

It's summer time and today our playgroup went to the pool. Kevin had a great time splashing in the baby pool. After a snack, we all went into the big pool to float around. After such a busy morning, Kevin had a nice long nap!

Look who's getting dirty!

Kevin checks out the new gravel-filled playground at his buddy Ryder's house. He had a great time laughing and digging around. By the time he was done, he was covered in so much dust he looked like a little statue.

Playgroup at the park

Today we went to playgroup at a park. It was a beautiful day, and Kevin had a great time climbing the hill and making a break for "the woods".

Heading home

After a week visiting Auntie Gloria in Colorado, Mommy & Kevin head home. The first leg of the trip is in a tiny plane!
